This is the Garland Pathfinder Guide class blog. I am very excited and feel blessed to be your class counselor this year. Your assistant counselor, Martin, will be assisting in posting our monthly class syllabus here on our blog. There will be a copy of the entire year's syllabus in your class folder, which you will receive at our first club meeting September 14th at 7:00 am. Please use your syllabus and our blog to check for upcoming events, assignments, and classwork. I am looking forward to a great year and I pray that you are too.

September  14 Classwork

• Know and recite AY aim and Motto
  
• Illustrate the meaning of the Motto
• List 5 kinds of law God gave to Israel
• Memorize 2 memory verses

Guide Reading Certificate Assignment Due September 28

• Read 2 articles on the dangers of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco. Write a two paragraph report or do a powerpoint presentation on each article.

September 28 Classwork

Church Heritage

• Roleplay an experience during the closing moments of earth's history. This will be discussed and planned in class. Will perform a skit during EFY. Date TBA

Making Friends: Building Relationships

• List 10 qualities for being a good life companion, and weigh the value of a christian vs non-christian home.
